Still learning…

Above is a picture of some cornbread muffins I baked tonight (I could not find the original image of cornbread muffins and so applesauce cranberry with lots of vanilla and brown sugar muffins are what those are). I previously made a post about how I learned to bake and incorporated it into my routine for enjoyment and financial benefit, it’s a big money saver. The recipe I used was very easy to put together, quick and I only needed to buy cornmeal to add to the ingredients I already keep stocked up on. The cornbread recipe can be found at https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/16755/basic-corn-muffins/

The above picture is a mandala that I coloured. As a fifty three year old man there have been times when I was younger that I thought I was to old to colour, but as a person with no real or maybe developed artistic skills I have found it a great way to do something artistic that looks good enough to enhance a part of my living room wall.

Now at this point in this post if I was enlightened enough I would maybe write something about Mandala’s and what they mean but I only have a limited understanding that they are considered representative of the Universe and impermanence commonly. We are only as old as we feel or age is a state of mind are common expressions and very true, you are never to old to take up a new skill or maybe retake up something from childhood like colouring, further enlightenment will no doubt flow from there in one way or another if open minded…

Thanks if you happened to give anything on this blog a read, you are kind to humour me any who may do so, I am not a professional at anything really and certainly this a hobbyist effort of course, a way for me to learn and express some thoughts etc somewhat randomly.
